Privacy Policy — Construction Calc

Construction Calc performs feet, inch and fraction arithmetic and construction material estimates. Calculations work offline. No account is required or created.

Local calculations and settings

Your measurements, expressions and estimator inputs are processed on your device and remain in the current app session. The app stores your selected fraction precision and language locally. It does not upload calculations, dimensions or material quantities to an app server or attach them to feedback. Android system backup may include saved settings and local SDK data according to your device and Google account backup settings.

Advertising

Google advertising SDKs can process advertising or device identifiers, app and advertising interactions, technical device information, diagnostics and IP-based approximate location. These services support advertising delivery, measurement, reliability and fraud prevention. Google may process information on its servers. See Google's privacy policy.

Where applicable, a consent screen presents advertising choices. Open Settings → Privacy choices to review them. Availability depends on the consent system and region. Device-level advertising and privacy settings may also apply. The app does not request precise location, camera, microphone, contact or media permissions and does not collect precise GPS location.

Optional Tally feedback

Settings opens a shared Tally form in your selected app language. Its URL carries nine optional fields: app identifier, app name, version, build, platform, device model, OS version, locale and entry screen. It does not include calculations, dimensions, material quantities, saved settings, advertising identifiers or user identifiers. You can enter feedback and optional contact details for a reply. Please avoid including sensitive information in your message.

Tally processes submitted messages and optional contact information to deliver the form and help us respond. See Tally's privacy policy. Opening the form may also expose routine web request information to the form service.

Retention and deletion

Clear app storage to remove saved local preferences and SDK data. Uninstalling removes the local app copy, but Android or Google backups may remain and restore settings on reinstall. Manage those backups separately in your device or Google account settings. Google and Tally apply their own service retention practices. We keep feedback only as needed to respond or resolve an issue, normally no longer than 24 months unless a legal obligation applies.

For privacy questions or deletion of feedback held by us, use the feedback form and identify the submission so we can locate it. Contact details are optional, but we may need enough information to verify and fulfil a request. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Children and changes

The app is not designed specifically for children under 13. We do not knowingly request children's personal information. We may update this policy as the app changes; the current version and date are shown here.
