Currency Mate (환율메이트, "the App") is a free currency conversion and calculator app developed by 강건한건강 ("we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

2. Information We Collect

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Any settings and data you enter (favorite currencies, amounts, and calculator inputs) are stored locally on your device and are never sent to any server operated by us. The App requires no account or sign-up.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob — for displaying advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as Advertising ID) and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy.
• Exchange-rate data providers — the App fetches public exchange-rate information from the Frankfurter API (frankfurter.dev) and the Korea Eximbank open API (koreaexim.go.kr). These requests contain only currency codes and dates; no personal information is transmitted.

4. Data Storage

All app settings and the most recent exchange rates are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage so the App can work offline. We do not operate any servers or databases that store your personal data. Uninstalling the App will delete all locally stored data.

5. Disclaimer

Exchange rates and customs-duty estimates shown in the App are for reference only and may differ from actual bank rates or the exact duties assessed by customs authorities. The App does not provide financial, tax, or remittance services.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
