1. Overview

출조 물때표 ("the App") is a free Android app developed by 강건한건강 ("we", "us"). It shows tide times (high/low water), tide-height charts, and coastal marine weather (wave height, wind, water temperature) for sea anglers planning a trip. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

2. Location Use

The App can use your device's approximate or precise location to suggest the nearest tide observation station and to fetch marine weather for your area. Your coordinates are sent only to our data proxy, which relays the request to public government data services to retrieve the forecast; they are not stored on our servers or linked to your identity. You may also pick a station manually instead of granting the location permission.

3. Information We Collect

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our servers. It has no user accounts and no server-side communication other than fetching tide/weather data and loading advertisements (see Section 4). Tide predictions are computed on your device and cached locally, so much of the App works offline.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Korea Hydrographic and Oceanographic Agency (KHOA) & Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) — public government open data, accessed through our own proxy server, used to retrieve tide predictions, water temperature, and marine weather. Only a location or station code is sent; no personal identifier is included.
• Google AdMob — for displaying advertisements. The App shows a banner, an occasional full-screen ad at natural breaks, and an app-open ad on launch. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as Advertising ID) and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Permissions

The App requests location access (to find the nearest station and local marine weather) and internet access (to load tide/weather data and ads). The App does not use or request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or files.

6. Data Storage

The App does not create user accounts and does not sync any data to the cloud. Favorite stations and settings stay on your device. Uninstalling the App removes any cached data stored on the device.

7. Safety Notice

Tide values in the App are astronomical predictions and may differ from actual water levels due to weather, atmospheric pressure, storm surge, and wind. They must not be used as the sole basis for safety decisions. Always check official information from KHOA and heed marine weather warnings.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for general audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
