Flags & Capitals: Geo Quiz (com.pando.flagscapitalsquiz) — Last updated: 9 October 2026

1. Overview

Flags & Capitals: Geo Quiz (“the game”) is a free Android geography quiz published by Stronghealth. There is no account or sign-up. Google advertising and optional Tally feedback process information as described below. We do not operate a game-sync server.

2. Everything runs on your phone

All 197 countries — names, capitals and flag images — ship inside the app. Quiz rounds, the daily challenge, the speed round and the study cards are all generated on your device from that built-in data, so nothing is downloaded while you play and the game works fully in airplane mode.

Your progress — round scores, your review deck, per-country accuracy, your best speed-round score, your daily streak, language preference and your settings — is stored in the game’s local storage on this device. An unfinished quiz stays in memory and is not saved across a cold launch. Reset Progress clears the local quiz records. Uninstalling clears local app storage; Android system backups may include those records and restore them on a later installation. Online advertising and feedback require a connection.

3. Information we collect

Quiz questions, answers and saved progress stay on your device. Optional feedback is processed through Tally; Google advertising services process the advertising data described below.

4. Third-party services and ads

The game uses Google’s Mobile Ads SDK and optional Tally feedback.

No separate Firebase Analytics, crash-reporting or push-notification service is integrated. Google advertising services process the usage and diagnostic information described above.

Optional feedback through Tally

Sending feedback is optional. The form collects a feedback type and message, plus an optional email address if you want a reply. The feedback link includes the app identifier, app name, installed version, build number, platform, device model, operating-system version, interface language and entry point to help us understand the report. These fields are optional and older links remain usable when a field is missing. Quiz questions, answers, review records, search text, scores and preferences are not attached. Please do not include sensitive information. We use submissions to respond and improve the app; feedback content and email addresses are not used for advertising.

Tally hosts the form and stores submissions on our behalf. See the Tally Privacy Policy. Tally and your browser may process their usual connection information as described in that policy. We retain submissions only as needed to address the request and improve the app. To request deletion of feedback, use the optional form with enough details to identify the submission; do not include sensitive records.

5. Permissions

The game requests no permissions that need your consent. It does not ask for photos, files, storage, the camera, the microphone, location, contacts or notifications. The remaining manifest entries are normal permissions granted without a prompt (internet and network state for ads, the advertising ID, and vibration for haptics).

6. The country data

Capital-city answers follow the CIA World Factbook (a public-domain work of the U.S. government), cross-checked against Wikipedia’s list of national capitals, and countries with more than one capital show every role on their fact card. Flag artwork is rendered from the open-source flag-icons project (MIT license). The full source list is in the app under Sources. This app is not affiliated with or endorsed by the CIA or any government and does not represent a government. The official reference is CIA World Factbook.

If you believe an answer is out of date or wrong, use the optional feedback form available from Settings, About or Sources. We check reports against the original source. Country and capital display translations do not change the canonical answers or original quoted source wording.

7. Children’s privacy

The game is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may change. Any change will be posted on this page with a new date.

9. Contact

Questions or feedback can be sent through the optional feedback form. Earlier versions of this policy exposed a personal email contact. The current public policy uses optional Tally feedback; historical messages sent by you remain subject to the email provider’s normal processing.
