1. Overview
Knitting Chart Designer ("the App") is a free Android app developed by 강건한건강 ("we", "us") for designing colorwork knitting charts and tracking rows. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.
2. Information We Collect
Charts are stored on your device. The App has no user accounts. Google Mobile Ads and Firebase Analytics process device and usage information; optional Tally feedback is described below. We do not send chart contents or chart names as analytics events.
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Google Mobile Ads — for displaying advertisements. The App shows a banner, a full-screen ad at natural breaks, and an app-open ad on launch. Google Mobile Ads may collect device identifiers (such as Advertising ID) IP-derived approximate location, interactions, diagnostics and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. - Firebase Analytics — records automatic app usage events, app/device details, identifiers and approximate location derived from IP addresses for product analytics. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- Tally — optional feedback records the selected feedback type, message, optional reply email, app identifier/name, version, build number, platform, device manufacturer/model, operating system, selected app language and entry point. Tally also processes technical request information to operate the form. See the Tally Privacy Policy.
Where required, a Google consent form is shown before requesting ads. You can reopen it from Settings → Privacy choices (translated into your selected language) when available.
4. Permissions
The App requests internet access for ads, analytics and opening optional feedback. The App does not use or request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, or files.
5. Data Storage
The App does not create user accounts and does not sync chart contents to our servers. Your charts stay on your device. Uninstalling the App removes your local data and any cached advertising data stored on the device. Android backup is left enabled for this App, so a copy of that data may also exist in your Google account. Uninstalling does not delete that copy, and installing the App again can restore it. You can review or delete it in the backup settings of your Google account.
Feedback retention and deletion
Feedback is used to investigate problems, improve the app and reply when an email is supplied. It is retained for up to 24 months unless a legal obligation requires longer retention. Do not include sensitive information. To request deletion, use our feedback form with “Knitting Chart Designer feedback deletion”, approximate submission date and any reply email you supplied. We delete matching feedback and reply contact details within 30 days after verifying the request, except records required by law.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is suitable for general audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
