Laundry Drying Index (com.pando.laundrydryingindex) - Last updated: 9 October 2026
1. Overview
This Android app is published by Stronghealth. It uses weather forecasts to estimate outdoor laundry drying conditions. Estimates are heuristic, not guarantees of drying time or weather accuracy, and air-quality labels use the app's existing Korean reference bands rather than country-specific health advice. The app has no account or sign-up. Weather, city search, advertisements and optional feedback require an internet connection.
2. Cities, optional location and weather requests
You can search for a city without granting device location permission. City search sends the text you enter to the Open-Meteo geocoding service. Weather and air-quality requests send the selected city's coordinates to Open-Meteo. If you choose current location and grant permission, the app uses approximate or precise foreground device location for these requests and may use the operating system's geocoding service to obtain a place name. This is optional; the app does not track background location.
These services receive ordinary connection information, including your IP address. Open-Meteo states that troubleshooting server logs can include requested coordinates and are deleted after 90 days. We do not operate a location-history server or attach city names, coordinates, searches or forecasts to feedback links. See Open-Meteo and its privacy information. You can revoke location permission in Android settings and continue using city search.
3. Local storage and deletion
The selected city name and coordinates and your language preference are stored locally. We do not operate an app synchronization server. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes local preferences. Android system backup may retain a copy and restore it after installation; uninstalling does not remove that backup. Review or delete it in your Google account backup settings.
4. Google advertising
The app uses Google advertising services for launch advertisements, banners and full-screen advertisements at natural breaks. Google may process advertising identifiers, IP addresses (which can indicate approximate location), app interactions and diagnostics to serve and measure advertisements. See the Google Privacy Policy and Google advertising data information.
Where required, Google presents a consent form before ad requests. Advertising privacy choices in Settings or About let you revisit the form. You can also reset or delete the advertising ID in Android privacy settings. No separate Firebase Analytics, crash-reporting or push-notification service is integrated.
5. Optional Tally feedback
Tally hosts the optional feedback form and stores submissions on our behalf. You may provide a feedback type and message and optionally an email address for a reply. The link may include app identifier, app name, installed version, build number, platform, device model, operating-system version, interface language and entry point to help understand a report. Missing diagnostic fields do not prevent use of the form.
Saved city names, coordinates, search text, location readings and forecast values are not attached. Please do not include sensitive information. We use submissions to respond and improve the app; feedback messages and email addresses are not used for advertising. Tally and your browser may process ordinary connection information described in the Tally Privacy Policy. We keep submissions only as needed to address requests and improve the app. To request deletion, use the form with enough details to identify the submission, without including sensitive information.
6. Children and policy changes
The app is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Policy changes appear here with an updated date.
7. Contact
Questions or feedback can be sent through the optional feedback form. Earlier versions offered email contact; historical messages that you sent remain subject to the email provider's normal processing.
