1. Overview

큰글씨 음력달력 (Lunar Calendar, "the App") is a free Android app developed by 강건한건강 ("we", "us") that shows the Korean lunar (음력) date alongside the solar date on a monthly calendar, together with public holidays, the 24 solar terms (24절기), seasonal markers, and lunar-recurring anniversaries (제사·음력 생신). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

2. Information We Collect

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our servers. It has no user accounts and no sign-up. There is no server-side communication other than loading advertisements (see Section 3). All calendar dates, anniversaries, memos, and settings are computed and stored only on your device and never leave it. Lunar-solar conversion and solar-term calculations are performed entirely on-device with no network access.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party service:

• Google AdMob — for displaying advertisements. The App shows a banner on the calendar screen and an app-open ad shown at most once per day on launch. It does not show full-screen (interstitial) ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as Advertising ID) and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Permissions

The App requests internet access only to load ads. It requests notification permission solely to deliver on-device reminders for anniversaries and solar terms that you choose to enable; these reminders are generated locally and are not sent to any server. The App does not use or request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or media files.

5. Data Storage

The App does not create user accounts and does not sync any data to the cloud. All your data stays on your device. The App can export your anniversaries and memos to a JSON file only when you explicitly choose to do so, and that file is handled by you; you can later import it back. Uninstalling the App removes your local data and any cached AdMob data stored on the device.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for general audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
