1. Overview

Mission Alarm Clock ("the App") is a free Android alarm clock for heavy sleepers. Alarms only turn off after you complete a wake-up mission (a math problem, retyping a phrase, or shaking the phone), with a loud alarm, gradual volume ramp and enforced snooze limits. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

2. Information We Collect

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our servers. It has no user accounts and no sign-up. There is no server-side communication other than loading advertisements (see Section 3). Your alarms and settings are saved only on your device and never leave it. The App works fully offline.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party service:

• Google AdMob — for displaying advertisements. The App shows a banner on the alarm-list and settings screens, an app-open ad on a normal launch, and an occasional full-screen ad when you finish saving an alarm. It shows no advertisements at all during the wake flow — that is, while an alarm is ringing, while you solve the mission, or on the first screen right after you dismiss it. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as Advertising ID) and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Permissions

The App requests only the permissions an alarm needs to ring reliably:

• Alarms & reminders (exact alarms) — to fire your alarm at the exact time you set.
• Full-screen notifications — to show the alarm and mission over the lock screen.
• Notifications — to display the ongoing alarm notification.
• Vibrate — for the alarm vibration.
• Run at startup — to re-schedule your alarms after the phone restarts.
• Foreground service — to keep playing the alarm sound until you dismiss it.
• Internet — only to load ads.
• Motion sensor (accelerometer) — used only locally to count shakes for the shake mission.

The App does not use or request access to your microphone, location, contacts, camera, photos, or files. It only plays the alarm sound; it does not record any audio.

5. Data Storage

The App does not create user accounts and does not sync any data to the cloud. All your alarms and settings stay on your device. Uninstalling the App removes your local data and any cached AdMob data stored on the device.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for general audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
