1. Overview

Offline Doc Scanner is an Android document and receipt scanner developed by 강건한건강. The current public release is 1.0.2 (build 3). Practices for the unpublished candidate 1.1.0 (build 4) are identified separately below.

2. Documents and Local Processing

Document page images, titles, folders, receipt months, page order and settings are stored on your device. The app does not provide accounts, document cloud synchronization or text recognition. It does not upload scanned documents or generated PDFs to our servers or automatically attach document contents to feedback.

Scanning uses the Google ML Kit document scanner supplied by Google Play services. Scanner components and its interface are downloaded by Google Play services, so first use may require a network connection and a supported device. Google controls this scanner interface separately from the app language selection. PDF creation processes page images locally. Advertising, consent and feedback services require network access separately from document processing.

3. Sharing and Exported Files

Choosing PDF sharing opens the system share sheet. The receiving app or service you select handles what you send under its own policies. A share sheet returning to this app does not confirm delivery to a recipient. The app cannot delete copies you have shared or saved outside its storage. Temporary exported PDFs have best-effort cleanup after seven days; external copies are unaffected.

4. Google Advertising and Consent

Google advertising and consent services may process device information, advertising and other identifiers, ad interactions, diagnostics and network data such as an IP address. This processing is separate from local document storage and depends on the app version, SDK configuration, consent and device settings. See the Google Privacy Policy. The candidate provides advertising privacy controls in Settings when Google requires them.

5. Feedback and Tally

Tally hosts the feedback forms. Visiting a form and submitting feedback require a network connection. Tally processes feedback, app context and any optional reply email you voluntarily enter; we use submissions to investigate feedback and respond. Tally also handles visit information under its Privacy Policy.

The candidate app feedback link contains nine environment fields: app, app_name, version, build, platform, device, os, locale and source. It uses the app identifier com.pando.offlinedocscanner, the installed app version and build, and public device model and operating-system information. Document titles, folder names, receipt months, page images, PDFs, file paths, record IDs, unique user or device IDs and your email are not automatically attached. This web page link contains only app, app_name, platform, locale and source, without fabricated installed-device values.

6. Deletion and Android Backups

The candidate commits document or page removal from its stored list before attempting local image-file cleanup. File cleanup is best effort and can leave images in app storage if it fails. Failed storage operations keep existing files available and offer retry to reconcile the saved document list. Newly copied page images can also remain in app storage after a failed write, to avoid deleting an image that saved data may still reference. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes data from that installation, but does not remove externally shared copies, earlier backups or feedback already submitted to Tally. Export important documents before clearing storage or uninstalling.

Public 1.0.2 (build 3) allows Android backup, so copies may remain in your Google account or device manufacturer's backup or transfer system and may be restored later. Manage available backups through your account and device settings.

The unpublished candidate disables Android backup and excludes app data from legacy backup and Android 12+ cloud backup and device transfer. It does not delete historical backups or guarantee every manufacturer's restore behavior.

7. Children and Policy Changes

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information. Policy changes will be posted here with a revised date.

8. Contact

Send feedback or a privacy request. A reply email is optional; include one if you want a response. You may request access to or deletion of feedback you submitted. Local documents are managed on your device.
