1. Overview

오프라인 문서 스캐너 ("the App") is a free Android document-scanner app developed by 강건한건강 ("we", "us"). It lets you scan paper documents and receipts into clean PDFs entirely on your device — with no account, no sign-in, and no cloud. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

2. Information We Collect

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our servers. It has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no server-side communication other than loading advertisements (see below) — in fact, we operate no server at all. Every document, page image, and PDF you create is stored locally on your device only.

3. Scanning & Camera

The App uses the on-device Google ML Kit document scanner provided by Google Play services to capture and process scans. Because scanning is performed by the system component, the App itself does not request the camera permission, and captured images are processed entirely on your device. No scanned content is sent to us.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party service:

• Google AdMob — for displaying advertisements. The App shows a banner on the document-list screen, an app-open ad on launch, and an occasional full-screen ad after you export a PDF (never during scanning, and not for the first three exports). AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as Advertising ID) and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Data Storage

The App does not create user accounts and does not sync any data to the cloud. All scanned documents and settings stay on your device. Your documents leave the device only when you explicitly choose to share a PDF to another app (such as a messenger or email app) that you select. Uninstalling the App removes all stored documents along with any cached AdMob data, so export important documents beforehand.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for general audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
