1. Overview

PanelCut ("the App") is a free Android app developed by 강건한건강 ("we", "us") that works out how to cut parts from full sheets of plywood or panel stock with the practical cutting layouts, and shows the resulting cutting diagram. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

2. Information We Collect

The App does not transmit your project measurements to our servers. There are no user accounts, no sign-up, and no cloud sync. Google advertising services and Google Analytics for Firebase process app-use and device data as described below. Your saved language preference and projects — part sizes, stock sheets, kerf settings and saved layouts — are stored locally on your device in a local database.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Google advertising services — for displaying advertisements. The App shows a bottom banner, an app-open ad on launch (limited to once per day), and an interstitial ad when you close a project. Google may collect device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID) and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. Your project data and measurements are never shared with our advertising or analytics services. For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy.
• Google Analytics for Firebase — measures basic app use such as opens, sessions, and screen views so we can improve the App. The SDK may process an app-instance ID, advertising ID, device information, diagnostics, and approximate location inferred from a masked IP address. We do not send sheet sizes, cut plans, or saved layouts as custom Analytics events. See the Firebase Privacy information.
• Tally — processes feedback you voluntarily submit in your selected language. Feedback includes your message, feedback type, optional reply email, app identifier/name, version, build number, Android platform, device manufacturer/model, OS version, selected language and source screen. Project names, dimensions, quantities, grain settings and cutting diagrams are not automatically attached. No advertising identifier or unique device identifier is included in the feedback link. Where required, the App asks for advertising consent before requesting ads. You can reopen Privacy choices in Settings when available.

Feedback retention and deletion

We use feedback to improve the app and reply to requests. Feedback and optional email addresses may be retained for up to 24 months, or deleted earlier on request. Request deletion through the Tally feedback form below with enough information to locate your submission; we aim to process deletion requests within 30 days. Do not include sensitive information in feedback. Uninstalling the app does not delete previously submitted feedback.

4. Permissions

• Internet — used to load advertisements, send basic analytics and open optional feedback or privacy pages. The optimizer itself runs entirely on your device and works with no connection at all.

The App does not use or request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, or photos.

5. Data Storage and Sharing

The App does not create user accounts and does not sync any data to the cloud. When you share a cutting diagram, the image is handed to the app you choose (for example a messaging or email app) by your own action — we never receive a copy. Uninstalling the App removes your local data and any cached advertising data stored on the device. Android backup is left enabled for this App, so a copy of that data may also exist in your Google account. Uninstalling does not delete that copy, and installing the App again can restore it. You can review or delete it in the backup settings of your Google account.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for general audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
