1. Overview

PipeFitter Calc (“the app”) is a free Android app published by Stronghealth. It calculates pipe offsets, fitting takeouts and finished cut lengths. There is no account, no sign-up and no cloud sync for your calculations or saved fittings. Core calculations work offline. Advertising, usage analytics and optional feedback use third-party services as described below.

2. Calculations and local data

Calculations run on your device. Saved custom fitting takeouts are stored in a local database, and your unit and language settings stay in local app storage. We do not operate a server that receives your measurements, saved custom fitting names or cut sheets. These records are not sent to advertising or analytics services and are not attached to feedback.

Before marking or cutting pipe, check every result against your own measurements and the fittings you actually have. The app is a calculator, not an inspection tool.

3. Third-party services and data collection

The app uses Google advertising and analytics services. Although your calculation records stay local, these services may collect and process limited device and app data:

Google and Tally services use encrypted connections for data in transit. Collected service data is handled under their respective privacy policies; the fact that calculations work offline does not mean that advertising, analytics or a submitted feedback form sends no data.

4. Consent and privacy choices

Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) provides the consent form where required before ads are requested. Required advertising privacy choices can be reopened from Settings. Advertising follows the available consent choices. Refusing personalized advertising does not mean the SDK sends no technical information. You can also review advertising ID and other privacy controls in Android Settings.

5. Permissions and connectivity

Internet and network-state access support advertising, analytics and optional feedback. The advertising SDK also uses the Android advertising identifier permission. Core calculations and saved fittings work without an internet connection; ads and the external feedback form need one.

The app does not request precise GPS location, camera, microphone or contacts access. It does not use location readings to calculate offsets. Approximate location inferred by online services from an IP address is separate from access to your phone's GPS.

6. Sharing, storage and deletion

When you choose to share a cut sheet, its image is generated on your device and handed to the app you select through Android's share menu. We receive no copy. The recipient app handles that image according to its own policies and your choices.

Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes local saved fittings and settings. Android backup is enabled for this app, so a backup copy may remain in your Google account and may be restored when you reinstall. Uninstalling does not delete that backup. Review or delete it through your Google account's backup settings. There is no app account to delete. Google advertising and analytics data is managed according to Google's policies and Android privacy controls.

To ask about privacy or request deletion of feedback you submitted, use the feedback form. Provide enough information to identify your submission. An email address is optional; include one if you want a reply. Avoid including sensitive information or calculation records in your message.

7. Children's privacy

The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
