Privacy Policy

1. Overview
Salah Tracker ("the App") is a free Android prayer log and streak tracker developed by 강건한건강 ("we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.
2. Information We Collect
The App has no user accounts. Your prayer records and settings are not sent to our servers. Google services used by the App may collect usage and device data as described below.
Your prayer records, qada ledger, streaks, and settings (calculation method, madhab, chosen city) are stored only on your device using local storage. Uninstalling the App removes all of this data. Android backup is left enabled for this App, so a copy of that data may also exist in your Google account. Uninstalling does not delete that copy, and installing the App again can restore it. You can review or delete it in the backup settings of your Google account.
3. Location
Prayer times are calculated entirely on your device. Providing a location is optional: you can pick a preset city from a list (no permission needed), or optionally use GPS once to get coordinates for more accurate times. Calculation coordinates are saved on your device and are not attached to analytics or feedback. Android backup may copy app data if enabled. The App does not track your location in the background.
4. Notifications
If you enable prayer time reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data leaves your device.
5. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Google advertising services — for displaying a banner advertisement on the statistics screen. Google may collect device identifiers (such as Advertising ID) and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Firebase Analytics — helps us understand app usage and improve reliability. It may collect approximate location, app interactions, diagnostics, and device or other identifiers. Google may process and share this data to provide analytics and related advertising services. See the Firebase privacy information.
- Tally — optional feedback forms collect your message and feedback type, with optional email for replies. The link includes app name, version, build, platform, device model, OS, language and entry point. Prayer records, Qada, calculation coordinates and chosen city are not attached. Feedback needs internet and is processed by Tally. See the Tally privacy policy.
In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google may display consent choices before requesting ads. If required, reopen Privacy choices in Settings. Declining optional purposes does not prevent local prayer tracking.
6. Permissions
The App requests: internet access (to load ads), optional notification permission (for prayer time reminders), and optional location permission (used once, in the foreground, to calculate prayer times). The App does not use or request access to your microphone, contacts, camera, or files.
7. Data Storage
All records and settings are stored locally on the device. There is no cloud sync of ours and no account system. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data and cached advertising data.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
10. Contact Us
Use the feedback form for privacy questions or deletion requests. Feedback is retained only as needed for support, normally no longer than 24 months; we aim to handle deletion requests within 30 days. Local prayer records can be removed by clearing app data or uninstalling; Google account backups must be managed separately. Google and Tally retention are governed by their policies.
