1. Overview

Trace to Draw (“the app”) is a free Android tracing tool published by Stronghealth. Tracing works locally without an account. Ads, analytics and optional feedback use the services described below.

2. Everything runs on your phone

You choose a picture from your device and the app lays it over the screen, or over the camera view of your paper, so you can trace it. The picture is read on the device and is never uploaded anywhere. The app has no server of its own.

The only things kept between sessions are a reference to the last picture you opened, your display settings (opacity, contrast, grid, mirror, mode), selected interface language and the counters that limit how often an ad may appear. They live in the app’s local storage on this device. Deleting the app removes them.

3. Information we collect

Your pictures and camera preview stay on your device. Google Mobile Ads SDK and Firebase Analytics process device and usage information. Optional feedback is processed by Tally. We do not send pictures or camera contents as analytics events.

4. Permissions

The app asks for two things, and only when you use the feature that needs them.

• Photos — so you can pick the picture you want to trace. The app reads the one picture you choose. It does not browse your library in the background and it does not upload anything.
• Camera — used only in Camera mode, to show your paper underneath the picture. Nothing is recorded, saved or uploaded. The preview exists only while that screen is open. Lightbox mode does not use the camera at all, and you can use the whole app without ever granting this.

Other manifest entries are normal permissions granted without a prompt: internet and network state for ads, analytics and optional feedback, the advertising ID, and wake lock (the screen is kept awake while you trace, and the ad SDK asks for it when a video plays). The app does not ask for location, the microphone, contacts or notifications.

5. Third-party services and ads

The app uses the following third-party services.

• Google Mobile Ads SDK — used to show ads. There are three placements: a banner on the home and information screens; one full-screen ad when the app is opened, at most once a day and never on your first run; and a full-screen ad after you finish a tracing session — at most twice a day and never twice inside three minutes. No ad is ever shown while a picture is on screen for tracing, because an ad appearing mid-stroke would ruin the drawing. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process advertising identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, app interactions and diagnostics to serve ads; you can reset or delete it in Android settings under Privacy > Ads.

Firebase Analytics records automatic usage events, app/device details, identifiers and IP-derived approximate location for product analytics. See the Google Privacy Policy.

Optional Tally feedback contains your selected type, message, optional reply email, app identifier/name, version, build number, platform, device model, operating-system version, language and entry point. Technical request information is also processed to operate the form. Pictures used for tracing are not sent. See the Tally Privacy Policy.

Where required, Google consent is requested before ads. Settings → Privacy choices lets you revisit those choices when available.

Feedback retention and deletion

We use feedback to investigate problems, improve the app and reply when an email is supplied. Feedback is retained for up to 24 months unless law requires longer retention. Do not include sensitive information. To request deletion, use our feedback form with “Trace to Draw feedback deletion”, approximate submission date and any reply email you supplied. We delete matching feedback and reply contact details within 30 days after verifying the request, except records required by law.

6. Children’s privacy

The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

This policy may change. Any change will be posted on this page with a new date.
