Privacy Policy
Water Drink Reminder — Last updated: October 10, 2026
1. Local records and reminders
No account is required. Water intake records, your chosen daily goal, reminder intervals and active hours are stored in private app storage. We do not upload your water intake history, goals or reminder settings to our servers or the feedback service. Core tracking works offline. Reminders are scheduled locally and require notification permission. The app is a personal tracking tool and does not provide medical advice.
2. Google advertising
Google provides app-open advertisements, banner advertisements and advertisements after eligible logging actions. Its advertising software may process advertising or other device identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, app interactions and diagnostics for advertising, fraud prevention and operation. Non-personalized or limited ads can still involve data processing. Where required, a Google consent screen offers choices, and required advertising privacy choices can be reopened from Settings.
Google handles its data under the Google Privacy Policy. You can also review Android and Google privacy controls.
3. Optional feedback through Tally
Choosing Feedback opens a common Tally form in the language selected in the app. The link includes the app identifier and name, installed version and build, platform, a general manufacturer/model description, operating-system version, current app language and entry point. It contains no device serial number, advertising identifier, water intake records or goals.
You can choose a feedback type, enter a message and optionally provide a reply email. Do not include sensitive health information. Tally processes that context, submitted content and normal browser information such as IP address under its privacy policy. Opening or closing the form does not submit feedback automatically. We use submitted feedback to review problems, suggestions and privacy requests, and reply if you provided an email. We retain it only as needed for that purpose and applicable obligations.
4. Storage, deletion and backups
You can undo your latest intake entry in the app. Records older than 30 days are removed during app cleanup. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes current local records and settings. Android 1.1.0 disables automatic app backup. Earlier versions allowed backup; copies made earlier may remain in your Google account or restore when an earlier version is installed. Review or delete those copies in your Google account backup settings. Device transfers and copies you make are controlled by you and the operating system. Removing the app does not delete feedback already submitted or information held by Google.
To request deletion of submitted feedback, use the feedback form and provide enough information to identify the submission. You do not need to send your water intake history. Required advertising privacy choices are available in Settings; Google and Android provide additional data controls.
5. Permissions, security and children
The app requests notification permission for local reminders. It does not request camera, microphone, photos, contacts or precise location access. Google services declare normal internet, network and advertising-related permissions. Third-party service connections use encrypted HTTPS. Keep your device and its access controls protected; no storage or transmission method guarantees absolute security. The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.
6. Updates and contact
This policy describes Android 1.1.0 and later; earlier versions may differ. We update this page when handling changes. For feedback or privacy requests, use the feedback form. Providing a reply email is optional.
